Hello, we are Tristan and Abigail!
Welcome to Wag It! Our mission here is to give your fur baby the most positive experience while being away from their people and leave your pet feeling like our VIP (very important pet). We strive to provide a stress-free vacation for your family member and we treat each pet with love, care and respect.

Tristan and I got married in the summer of 2017 and have loved growing together as friends, lovers, business partners and parents! Over the years we have widened our family with our two playful Standard Poodle's Ember and Wren, our beautiful daughter Ophelia, handsome son Theodore and third tie breaker due November 2024!
I have always had such a strong passion for animals. I always knew my love would grow and land me in an animal related career. I started my grooming journey in 2016 when I joined PetSmart and soon after got my professional grooming certificate.
In 2019 I decided to start a grooming salon here close to my home in New Dundee!
After owning Hearts and Paws Dog Grooming, Tristan and I came across this once in a lifetime opportunity in 2021 to start Wag It. We have learned and grown so much over these years and have welcomed and met so many new clients and team members that we are so grateful for! We both are so passionate about our business and hope you can welcome our family into your family.

Hi everyone! I just started working at Wag It! in May 2024 and I love it here! I've always loved animals ever since I was a kid, so working here is a dream come true! It's amazing to come into work everyday and get to hang out with all the doggies and kitties. I've wanted to go into the veterinary medicine field for a long time now, so getting to spend time with so many different animals and seeing how they act and what they like or dislike is super exciting and eye-opening! I look forward to all the new memories I get to make here and making sure all the animals get the best care they can! Thank you for trusting your fur babies with us!

Hi everyone. I started working at Wag It in late January 2024 and have enjoyed every second of it! I have always loved animals, ever since I was young, so this has been an absolute dream for me. I absolutely love getting to meet your furry friends and getting to know them. I have experience working with cats, dogs, as well as cows! I have a huge passion for Agriculture so I will be attending the University of Guelph in the fall of 2024 to get my degree in Agriculture! I am so grateful for the opportunity to work here and to love and care for your furry friends!

Hello everyone! I started at Wag It in May 2024! It has been such a fun experience so far! Getting to know your fur babies! I've been given the opportunity to learn how to groom, which has been a dream of mine! I'm so excited to learn more! I've had animals my whole life, dogs, cats, bunnies etc. I've even worked with horses! I cant wait to meet your fur babies this summer! :)
